Are accelerators good for your business in 2025 from a Techstars Alumni?

Having been through the worlds best accelerator (techstars), interviewed at YC and exited a SAAS business, I have some idea on whether an accelerator can help you to increase your chances of having a successful business.

Is it right for your business or startup? This is a good question. Its really up to you.

Negatives

-Time-consuming (accelerators take emotional and mental energy)

-Takes equity (usually around 7% or so)

Benefits

-Great for networking

-Good for meeting new people

-Can help you mentally and emotionally

Conclusion

So in 2025, whether your starting an AI or a crypto startup I would still recommend applying for top tier accelerators like YC, just because of the network you will be getting. They have so many good statups around them (dropbox, Airbnb and many more) its absolutely worth it.

Is antler or any accelerator worth doing to start my company
Entrepreneurs do need a lot of support and it’s not easy to build a company. The antler ecosystem is great and the networking with high caliber people is top-notch. If you are looking for an experience that combines motivation top MBA compared with seasoned entrepreneurs such as myself, (feel free to add me on LinkedIn) I would suggest going for antler.
