What will a YC interview look like this year?
Well it probably wont have changed much from the last few years. I interviewed at YC a while back and it was a quick 10 min interview. I wanted to share my experience again and whether i think you should do it.
Should you do it?
The quick answer to this question is yes, i do think you should do it. Its backed so many amazing billion dollar companies and it has amazing top tier companies that it has backed.
Has the interview process changed a lot?
No. Just like a few years ago its a 10 min interview. In the 10 min you go through some of the thoughts about the company and why it should work. You also talk to them about the team itself and how you guys met.

My interview with YC and how you can do better in 2026

The YC interview is short quick, to the point, and also a great learning experience. Just getting an interview you are in the top 1% of founders so count yourself lucky.
