Here is the first things I would do if I started a business from scratch from a VC backed founder

With my background being a VC scout as well as having sold an online business and being backed by top tier accelerators, I have a little bit more expeince than lets say Iman Gazdhi or Andrew Tate about building a VC backed business.

Its not easy at all. Venture Capitalists usually come in when they already see a business doing well. Before that you may need an angel to invest in your business.

The steps I would take:

  1. Research the market (are they any competitors in the space?)
  2. Find a team (going it alone will be very hard)
  3. Create a super simple minimal viable product
  4. Get any customer to naturally buy the product

Once a few customers buy the product you can than take it to a VC which will look at your numbers and see whether you are ready for the growth stage of investment.

Here is my interview with one of the biggest US VC's

My interview with YC and how you can do better in 2026
I’m sharing my experience from interviewing with Y Combinator accelerator, one of the world’s best Venture capital companies. The YC interview is short quick, to the point, and also a great learning experience. Just getting an interview you are in the top 1% of founders so count yourself lucky. We tried with Chefr and had a few learnings.
