What is the worst thing about being an entrepreneur? No one cares.

What is the worst thing about being an entrepreneur? No one cares.

One of the worst things is that no one will really recognize your achievements that or how hard you have worked to build up your business. Whether it will fail (most of which will), no one will care but people will see it as a complete waste of time.

Corporates dont care

They absolutely do not care what business your are building. Only really do people care once you have sold a business for $50M plus, the chances of which are very small. So if your looking for a job don't expect them to bow down to you.

People should get more recognition for their efforts

Every time we speak to entrepreneurs who have gone through burnout they are shocked about how little people not only understand the space but care about what they have built. This is why the best VC's usually have operating experience as they know what people have to go through.
