Want an AI companion around your neck? There is a company that does just that

There is a cool new startup where you can have something around your neck and is basically kind of like some sort of AI companion by your side all the time. Its a new concept for anyone almost to replace a friend called friend.com. Its constantly listening and its great to have someone to talk to. These devices give you some emotional support and a friend thats always close by to talk to.

Its actually a device that you wear all the time. Its a sort of a virtual friend and is trying to compete with the numerous AI companion sites out there like Spicychat which has over 750K different characters.

It has around 16 hours of battery life and cost around 99$ a piece. Its pretty cool but I would prefer not to have an actual hardwhere device around my neck but I can understand why people would want to do it.

Most of these big AI companies are realising the importance of AI companionship and so are moving into the space.

Of course there are dangers to having something virtual, especially maybe in real times of danger where you potentially forget that it may not be able to act like a real human.
