If i started a business from scratch how would i get my first customers?

Having sold a SAAS business, which was bootstrapped and been part of techstars (which is one of the worlds best accelerators) and worked for top tier investment banks I know a thing or 2 about building a business or side hustle and i want to talk a little bit about the marketing side of it.

What would I do if I had to start it all again and get my first customers?

There are a number of things I would do if i wanted to market my product without having to spend money and this is mainly creating content. Tons of people are online creating content and cross selling you thier business and you should probably be doing the same.

Create content

Yes its that simple. Create content similar to what you are trying to build. Make the content funny and interesting to get it to stand out and you may get the meta, google or tiktok algos to push you.

From this you can then cross sell your own business or anyone elses (using affiliate links)!
