How to sell a startup for $80M in 6 months without funding

Well if this is not the best case study we ever did than i dont know what is. A company called base 44 was just sold to wix for $80M in cash, and the best thing about it was that it was just 6 months old!

The startup itself was made by an isreali developer who had boostrapped a vibe coding startup. It was mainly solo but he did have 8 other people workin on it. It reportidy did grow to over 250K users and was profitable.

It is designed for non programers helping anyone create an application with ease.

“Crazy f***ing journey so far,” Shlomo posted on LinkedIn.

Clearly the demand from the market was strong and he managed to find a niche and it exploded. Wix the buyer has a no coding website maker and so it fits quite nicely in this.
