What career should I go for if im looking to make serious money?

Having worked in finance as well as worked and sold businesses online and bootstrapped them there are 2 ways to financial freedom this year and beyond and things have not changed much.

It was Dave Portnoy during a podcast that makes it very clear. If you want to make lots of money you can do it in 2 ways. The first way is selling a business (extremely hard) or working in finance.

Work in finance

So this is what you want to be doing. Working in finance is the other way and honestly it is the safer way. Whether your just graduating, or not, the best way to do it is to work in finance.

Front office roles in finance are great for make big money. Within years of working in investment banking, you may be able to make millions where as selling your own business can take a lot of time and energy and is very difficult.
