Slovenia has in fact already launched its digital nomad visa in 2025 and its set to continue the rollout into 2026. Slovenia is an amazing country to work from. With its capital Ljubljana it is a country that is unique in what it offers and definately worth applying to if you are in fact a digital nomad.
The application process is pretty simple and the permit is valid for around 12 months and need a monthly income of around 3150 euros per month. Obviously since EU citizens can work anywhere in the EU this is in fact aimed for people outside the EU.
