# How to make money online in 2026

This is a good question. Personally, we would be focusing on the online side hustles for quick cash. If we are looking to build a solid long term business you would really be trying to build a software as a service business (Venture capital backed, very hard business).

## What you want to build really depends on your risk profile:

Are you looking for something more or less risky? Remember more risk more return!

Things all of these below have in common:

**1) Investing in stocks (risky)**

Very risky thing to do. They can go up as well as down. We would recommend blue-chip large-cap stocks which are less volatile. You can use brokers like [Robinhood](https://robinhood.com/?ref=founderbounty.com). Some would even invest in crypto which is even more risky.

Stocks and shares are considered a very risky asset class.

**2)Start a YouTube channel (risky)**

This is very difficult and will take you a lot of time. Not only is the market very saturated, you need to invest in equipment as well. It will take you on average of 150 videos to get any kind of revenue and join the partner program.

**3) start a blog (less risky)**

Easy to do. Build a community, start writing. Make money from affiliates, sponsored posts. You can use [medium](https://medium.com/?ref=founderbounty.com) for this. Focus on a niche you enjoy to write about. SEO also takes time. Dont expect any return without putting in 1 year of solid constant writing.

**4) Start an affiliate site (less risky)**

Start a blog and start, signing up to affiliate partner programs like (impact.com) and get a percentage for every customer that gets converted.
